There is a young, afro-american male who usually takes my order at the window. he is the jolliest and most cordial person I've ever met at any McDonald's. When I first met him, I asked him if he was the supervisor, because of his professional appearance and personality. I usually order 10 meat patties for my dogs (when I don't have time to give them boiled chicken), and he always gets my order right. Besides that, the meat patties cost about $.67 cents here and at the McDonalds on Harlem Ave., south of Addison; whereas in other places, each patty costs $1.00 The thing is that when you ask for an unusual item and the person taking your order doesn't know what you are asking for, they'll put you on hold until they get the manager. I don't get this solitary hold, at either of these places, so I give them a 4-star; reason being that one day I was ready to leave the parking lot at the Montrose restaurant, heading west on Montrose, and the delivery trailer came zooming into the lot, and forced me to swerve sharply to the right to avoid a collision. He apologized, and then he said there were cars behind him, and he had to get the trailer into the parking lot to avoid a collision, etc. Other than that, their WI-FI is great, because you can stay there as long as possible, and no one bothers you. I must also admit that the employees who work there, need to practice making ice cream cones because mine is usually lop-sided, flat, or dripping on the sides. The employees work hard to make this a pleasant restaurant to visit.

And these people want $15 dollars an hour? Maybe you should get my order correct, and give me the correct change, first. They also charge 50 cents for refills here. First time I've been here, and it's the last. At least the rest rooms were clean. The "dining room" could use a little help, though.

I just called this location( at 5:30 AM) to inquire when they would open for breakfast, and the person that answered the phone, after about 10 rings could not understand me because she did not speak English very well! What the H--L is going on with this chain? We are in the US of A, and a national chain does not even have sufficient customer service to have an English speaking person to talk with a customer? I will certainly not go to this place untill the franchisee/ owner raises their standards to incorporate the English language as a requirement for their employees! And now they want $15 per hour, well try learing the language of our country first before they demand higher wages!

Why am I rating a Mcdonalds? Because I can. I've rated a Popeyes for the unique quality of its location. Now I found a Mcdonalds that is so undeniably unique, I have to mention it. We all know about the food, you either love it or loathe it But what about the country music? Yes, you read right. Walk into this Mcdonalds and you will hear your country favorites pumping through the sound system. Now I'm not a fan of country music, but I have to give props to an urban Mcdonalds that even dares to play the stuff. I have seen patrons come in the door and do a double take. Last year I went to Nashville and still didn't hear as much country music in one place than I did at this Mcdonalds. I thought it was a fluke, but I've been here multiple times, and still they play the country music. And I gotta admit, its catchy. To sum it up: Putting the 'folk,' in 'Food, Folks, and Fun.'

Harwood Heights, Illinois Mc Donalds is the worst in town. They charge more than ay other and their help is atrocious. The manager will not accomadate and the help barely understands or speaks English. It is rotten.I complained about something and rather than give good customer service I ended up getting a refund and leaving. Nice place....NOT.

This has got to be oe of the worst McDonalds for food and customer service. It is "franchise" not corporate, so expect to pay more for EVERYTHING. They also don't participate in any of the promotions announced constantly on TV. The food is marginal at best, and good luck getting a full fries. They always lay them sideways in the bag, and when you stand them up they are only halfway full. Almost every time. They also look like they are always cooked in old grease. Nasty! Then they only give you 2 napkins, and when you ask for more, they give you 2 more. CHEAP!!! The manager is rude, and many of the employees don't even speak English. The manager doesn't speak it very well either, and they all speak Spanish to each other (VERY LOUDLY). When they mess up your order then, when they can't understand, they somehow try to make it YOUR fault. Today it was in the 80's, and they did not even have the air on. It was so hot in here I almost passed out. I have been visiting the area, and thankfully am leaving soon because I would not recommend for anyone to waste their money here. Drive a little further to Montrose and Cicero instead and go to that location. The manager there is wonderful! Stay away from this place.

ok, yes I know this is McDonalds and maybe (it's sad to say) these young people aren't bright enough to work anywhere else, not even McDonalds. What ever happened to customer service 101 or try 102. Don't go here, drive to another McDonalds....trust me someone out there would love your business. I was paying at the window and asked the young dork dude to please add a chocolate shake to my order. He told me....NO, we don't do things this way, you want something else get back in line (drive thru) he is lucky I was not pmsing because my ass would not have left that window without the damn shake. Is there anyway to give minus three stars?

Ok so its McDonalds food. Its 10pm. It takes 12 minutes to make a iced mocha because no one wants to go near the registers. I can see all the employees joking around in the back and none make eye contact with the 6 pissed customers waiting for orders or waiting to have them delivered. It doesn't matter how nice it looks inside of the service is crap. It even had a messy bathroom. Thats a shocker for me.
